Something Renewed Something Borrowed
The Fall Winter 16/17 collection is an expansion of the themes developed in the previous season, where the traditional African-Ghanaian style, was reinterpreted to create something new, in combination with a modern aesthetic to suit and compliment the autumn/winter season.
The Fall Winter 16/17 collection is an expansion of the themes we developed in the Spring Summer 16 collection - where we focused on the traditional Ghanaian style, and re-interpreted to create something new in combination with a modern aesthetic - to suit and compliment the autumn/winter season.
The choice of colors are inspired by the typical tones of the enchanting and evocative African autumn sunset: from cherry tomato to green, gray to dark brown. The fabrics used create an even more feminine silhouette, thanks to an effective play of volumes and weight: heavy fabrics like jacquard, wool with Astrakhan effect or double wool crepe; lighter fabrics like viscose, mixed silk and wool, silk habotai with a rigid print ... Neoprene made from polyamide, adds a strong technical component to the collection.
